Meridian school was founded by Sri. M. Thiyagarajan under the support of Bharathiyar Educational and Charitable trust. The main intention of the school is to provide quality education. Class size purposely kept small to enable personalized attention and individual monitoring of every child’s progress.
Meridian aims to develop children into balanced, responsible, confident and emotionally healthy individuals with decision making and leadership qualities. Our teachers are well qualified and trained with extra skills to tackle the children with personal care. The teacher, child and environment create a learning triangle. The classroom is prepared by the teacher to encourage independence, freedom within limits and a sense of order. The child, through individual choice, makes use of what the environment offers to develop him/her interacting with the teacher when support/guidance is needed.

Principal Message
It gives me immense pleasure to pen this message.
We, at Meridian, work on the overall development of the child since we ardently believe in the holistic development of our learners in mind, body and spirit… beyond the acquisition of knowledge and the scoring of grades. We strongly believe that Experiential Learning paves the path to self-discovery. I consider it not just my duty but also my passion to provide all students with opportunities to be on such a path.
Mahatma Gandhi rightly said “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Firmly believing in our core values of Courage, Compassion, Equality and Integrity. We, at Meridian aim to nurture our students so that they are well equipped to face the competitive society with value-based knowledge and skills that have contributed towards the growth and vision in building global citizens and a conscientious humanity.
We are building our school around the theme “Every child is special”. Adequate attention is given to the strengths of every child with an opportunity to grow in that particular direction.
Our students’ achievements in various sporting events speak volumes about the sports facilities and training provided here at our school. Right from grade 1, our scholars get groomed to present scientific experiments, take part in co-curricular activities. They are engaged in community service that helps them understand the society. We, at Meridian, believe that every child is unique and that the right blend of education, experimentation and exposure, will take them places. We see our school parents as equal partners in this endeavor and encourage them to engage excitedly in their child’s journey here in close collaboration with teachers.
