English Club

“The Limits of My Language Mean the Limits of My World.”

– Ludwig Wittgenstein

UPST0040

At Meridian School, we believe that language is the power to express, to connect, and to create. The English Club is where students come together to unlock that power, sharpening their communication skills while discovering the joy of storytelling, public speaking, poetry, and drama.

From debates to dialogues, and essays to enacting Shakespeare, the English Club is a stage for voices to be heard.

What Is the English Club?

The English Club is a literary and creative platform that fosters a love for the English language in all its forms. Open to students from Grades 6 to 10, the club meets weekly and focuses on improving speaking, writing, and critical thinking in fun, interactive ways.

Our goal is to help students become confident communicators, thoughtful readers, and imaginative writers.
